Noodle. Cos'è Noodle heaven, quel nome che compare nel mio spudoratissimo banner della home page? Finalmente mi son deciso a parlarvene. Si tratta di un programma da installare nel PC che permette di "giocare con la musica", come affermato nel sito ufficiale, ma non solo. Noodle potrebbe rappresentare un nuovo modo di far musica ma soprattutto una nuova "era" per l'ascoltatore che si trasforma da soggetto "passivo" ( ascolta un brano ben definito) a soggetto "attivo" (con possibilità di intervento su durata e sviluppo del brano ).
Una rivoluzione se vogliamo. O una possibile rivoluzione che sta passando abbastanza inosservata, forse anche per una spaventosa mancanza di informazione e di supporto da parte dei musicisti. Quasi tutte le operazioni si svolgono esclusivamente via internet, è consigliabile una connessione veloce . Attualmente noodle è un esperimento quindi periodicamente ci saranno da scaricare gli aggiornamenti. Per avere il programma è necessario registrarsi al sito, ( gratuito), scaricarlo ( non più di 12 Mb) e naturalmente installarlo. La prima volta che lo utilizzerete verrà completata la registrazione e appariranno i brani acquistabili e/o scaricabili. Attualmente (settembre 2005) sono disponibili unicamente 5 brani di cui uno gratuito ( the tower that ate people) Un brano costa mediamente 5 $, tutta l'operazione di acquisto si svolge via internet e con l'uso delle carte di credito.Bene, ci siamo iscritti, abbiamo scaricato un brano omaggio e siamo pronti per partire. Questo è quello che si presenterà ai nostri occhi.
