The book is made of more or less interesting words. I’m not neither a keen reader nor a good critic. But I want to recommend you some books I’ve recently read because they are relating to the blog topics. If you know the musical blog you can appreciate my liking for Peter Gabriel. I want to recommend you a book that talks about his life, written by Chris Welch, a well- appreciated journalist of “Melody Marker”. The phrase I want to comment on is the following:

“Tony Banks and I were starting to establish a relationship. Obviously there were things that we didn’t like but also many elements that we shared, so we concentrated ourselves on those ones.”

I’ve been present at the birth and depth of many bands, famous and not. For too times they have broken up for their different ideas and they have forgotten what the could share and go into. The Genesis has introduced great changes and really good music in the first Seventies because they, apart from some fights, concentrated themselves on what each musicians had in common with the others. The result was that they got the height of fame and they greatly improved themselves as persons. This is my wish and advise to all the new bands… take advantage of it!
